Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a gas station in Marrero after a woman was found dead in a vehicle Wednesday morning.

Investigators said no foul play is suspected in the 55-year-old woman's death. Her name has not been released.

The woman's body was discovered about 7:15 a.m. at a gas station in the 7100 block of the West Bank Expressway, said Sgt. Brandon Veal, a spokesperson for the Sheriff's Office.

She was inside of a vehicle parked at a fuel pump.

The Jefferson Parish Coroner's Office scheduled an autopsy for Thursday.
