ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - Centra is expanding its footprint in Lynchburg with a brand-new medical center designed to bring more specialty care, closer to home.

The Langhorne Medical Center is part of a multi-year effort to modernize facilities and make healthcare more convenient across our region.

For years, many patients had to drive across Lynchburg to keep up with appointments. This center aims to end that.

“People move the cities and they need certain amenities and one of them is great healthcare, and Centra is providing that through this new resource for us,” said Wynter Benda, City Manager, of the City of Lynchburg.
