ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Deputies said they’ve arrested a second suspect in the beating death of a man in Stone Mountain last month.
Around noon on Nov. 17, DeKalb County police said they responded to the 1600 block of Summit Creek Drive, inside the Affinitee at Stone Mountain apartment complex.
They reportedly found 32-year-old Taha Tahanur dead in a car.
Police initially said Tahanur was shot to death. The following day, police said they found him dead in the car “with signs of blunt force trauma to the face and head.”
The same day, they arrested a suspect, 34-year-old Abel Mahari, on charges of felony murder and aggravated assault.
