CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland Guardians announced today the following addition to the club’s 40-man roster:
Signed right-hand Connor Brogdon to a Major League contract.
Brogdon, 30, spent most of the 2025 season at the Major League level with the Los Angeles Angels, compiling a 3-2 mark with a 5.55 ERA in 43 relief appearances (47.0IP, 45H, 29ER, 18BB, 49SO). Around his two stints with the Halos, he made 17 appearances in Triple-A Salt Lake after signing with the Angels in December 2024.
After debuting on August 13, 2020 for the Philadelphia Phillies, the 6-6, 205-pound right-hander spent parts of the next 5 seasons in the Philadelphia bullpen, highlighted by his 2021 campaign when he recorded career-highs in holds (11), strikeouts (50), appearances (56) and innings (57.2IP).
