The roundabouts are off the table.

Placing roundabouts where West Street and Woodstock Avenue meet Route 7 was among the recommendations that emerged from the routes 4 and 7 scoping study earlier this year. On Tuesday, the Public Safety Committee voted to recommend the full board endorse less radical changes to the intersections, following the advice of Assistant City Engineer Ted Gillen and the Traffic Safety Committee.
