TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A Toledo man convicted of raping a young child was sentenced to life in prison, court records show.

Judge Lori Olender sentenced Derrick Anspach, 40, of Toledo, to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 15 years for his conviction.

He previously pleaded guilty to two counts of rape and three counts of gross sexual imposition on Oct. 9.

Charging records allege Anspach raped a 6-year-old related to him on Jan. 25. According to police affidavits, the charges stem from video evidence and statements Anspach made to investigators.
