ANN ARBOR, MI — The University of Michigan children’s hospital will benefit from thousands of dollars in additional funds this year, thanks to a dance organization in Ann Arbor.
Dance Marathon at the University of Michigan raised $33,508 on Giving Tuesday, Dec. 2, to support a new certified therapeutic recreation specialist position at the UM Health C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, according to a Dec. 3 press release.
The organization surpassed its $30,000 goal and raised close to $5,000 more than last year’s total, the press release states.
