Salvador Plasencia, the doctor who supplied ketamine to Matthew Perry in the weeks before his death in 2023, was sentenced on Wednesday (12/3) to 30 months in federal prison.
Plasencia apologized to Perry’s family before the sentence was read, saying, “I failed Mr. Perry. I failed his family. I should have protected him. I have to accept responsibility.”
He is the first to be sentenced among the five people convicted in connection to his death.
