DALLAS — A 40-year-old man is now behind bars, charged with murdering a 37-year-old man in southern Dallas in November, police said.

According to the Dallas Police Department, the US Marshal Service North Texas Fugitive Task Force arrested Francisco Morales III, 40, and booked him on a murder charge.

Police had been searching for Morales in connection with a Nov. 10 fatal shooting in southern Dallas. That day, police found David Mireles, 37, with a gunshot wound while responding to a shooting call. Mireles was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, DPD said.
