LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel has secured a preliminary injunction from a federal court blocking the Trump administration from defunding Planned Parenthood and other health centers.
The injunction was secured in the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts and blocks the enforcement of the “Defund Provision” in the new federal budget.
The provision would exclude health centers like Planned Parenthood from receiving Medicaid reimbursements.
