ROSWELL, Ga. — Campaigning never takes a break, even in the rain, especially during a runoff . As cars slowly trickled into a polling place in Roswell, signs dotted the entryway, and one man was seen spinning a sign to attract voters to a particular candidate.
Roswell Mayor Kurt Wilson is vying for a second term. He's led the charge to build a new public safety center, upgrade parks and drive economic growth.
"This race is all about the economic future of the city of Roswell and what happens," Wilson said. "She's a 171-year-old city at an inflection point, and I don't know what's going to happen to her. I can tell you we've been deliberate; we've had outstanding plans and have an outstanding team and have been successful in execution."
Just 185 votes separated Wilson and former state
