Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse freshman Kiyan Anthony was not afraid of hyping his teammates up after the Orange’s upset win over No. 13 Tennessee on Tuesday.
In a post-game team interview conducted by the school, the 18-year-old was itching to get on the microphone.
He quickly answered a question about the environment in the JMA Wireless Dome before he grabbed the microphone and animatedly showered some of his teammates with praise.
“I just want to say, this is the best shooter in the country right here,” Anthony said as he brought Nate Kingz next to him.
“Yo listen, this is the best combo guard in the country right here,” Anthony said with his arm around JJ Starling.
“This is the best point guard in the country,” Anthony said about Naithan George.
