SPOKANE, Wash. — The Isaac Foundation, a Spokane organization offering support for children with autism, is hosting its annual Taste of Gingerbread event on Saturday.
The tradition has been kicking off the foundation’s holiday season for more than a decade.
“This is that one space where we can be very intentional about all the support we have here,” explained Holly Goodwoman, founder of The Isaac Foundation.
Do-it-yourself gingerbread houses are available for purchase through the organization's website.
Options to decorate in person or to-go houses are available, along with a candy bar.
Funds raised go directly towards the organization’s mission of empowering those touched by autism.
“The cool thing is we also invite people without disabilities to come into this space,” Goodwoman sa
