Dec 3 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump's aides and allies are discussing the possibility of appointing Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent as the top White House economic adviser, Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday, citing sources familiar with the matter.
Bessent would lead the White House's National Economic Council in addition to his current role, in the event Kevin Hassett is picked as the next Federal Reserve chair, the report added.
Reuters could not immediately verify the report.
