Aston Villa boss Unai Emery provided an injury update on Emi Martinez after the goalkeeper missed the 4-3 win over Brighton.
Martinez had been selected to start the match at the Amex Stadium but had to withdraw due to a back problem.
Marco Bizot stepped in for Martinez, making his sixth appearance of the campaign. Although Bizot was at fault for Brighton’s opening goal, he produced a spectacular save to deny Danny Welbeck what would have been a late equaliser.
Ollie Watkins scored twice to restore parity before half-time, while Amadou Onana turned the game on its head, and Donyell Malen added a fourth for Villa .
