ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

A former medical student in Albuquerque has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for producing child sexual abuse material.

According to court records, between June 2020 and February 2024, Kevin Weiss, 29, possessed child sexual abuse material containing prepubescent minors.

Weiss pleaded guilty to the production of child sexual abuse material and possession of child sexual abuse material. Upon his release from prison, Weiss will be subject to 10 years of supervised release and must register as a sex offender.
