The Ocala City Council on Dec. 2 unanimously approved a redevelopment agreement between the city and Marion Opportunity Zone Investment I LLC for the rehabilitation of the Marion Hotel downtown.

City Councilwoman Kristen Dreyer made the motion, which was seconded by Pro Tem Jay Musleh. There was no discussion among the five council members. Dreyer, Musleh and their fellow council members (President Ire Bethea Sr. and Jim Hilty and Barry Mansfield) all voted yes.
