Clarke isn’t ranked as high as some other players in Michigan’s 2026 class, but he is still a high four-star recruit. Because of that, he had a lot of great options for college. He was eventually able to narrow down his options, and Kentucky, SMU and Florida State emerged as the top competitors for the Wolverines. He took an official visit to Michigan in mid-June, and he was committed to the program by the end of the month.
