Shockingly, the Jets had one of the worst defenses in the NFL early this season.

But their unit improved immensely, helping them go 2-2 since their Week 9 bye after an 0-7 start.

Jets head coach Aaron Glenn acknowledged they have improved significantly defensively, but they aren’t quite up to his standards yet.

“We are playing better, but we’re still not where we need to be,” Glenn said. “I’m a huge fan of trying to be Top 10 in every defensive category, but sometimes it is not totally realistic, but we shoot for that.

“I like the way we’re trending, but we are still not where we need to be.”
