Netflix's newest festive romantic comedy bears a striking resemblance to Robin Williams' classic Mrs Doubtfire . My Secret Santa, which launched on the streaming service on December 3rd, follows a gender-swapping storyline reminiscent of the beloved 1990s film .

This time, it's romantic comedy regular Alexandra Breckenridge who goes undercover as Father Christmas , rather than Williams in his memorable housekeeper disguise.

Breckenridge portrays single mother Taylor, who finds herself unemployed just before Christmas. Whilst struggling financially, Taylor's teenage daughter Zoey secures a place at a costly snowboarding academy.
