The 26th Annual Lighting of the Vineyard at Benigna’s Creek Vineyard & Winery took place on Friday, Nov. 28 and Saturday, Nov. 29.

It felt like wintertime and looked like Christmas in rural Klingerstown, Schuylkill County, with both days marked by cold temperatures, steady winds and even a burst of flurries.

Around 1,500 guests attended the two-day extravaganza, which featured not only the lighted vineyard but also wine tastings, festive food, a welcoming fire and music.

It also included the release of the winery’s seasonal wine, Frosted Plum-berry Delight, a perfectly festive blend of cranberries and plums.
