ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Almost three months after Benjamin Reiser was killed on Roswell Road, his father, Scott, spoke out at the Atlanta Fatal Crash Review Commission on Wednesday.

“My wife wasn’t able to drive past it for a month every time I go past it -I of course think of him I think of what happened that night,” said Reiser.

Reiser, 16, died after being hit by a car while driving on Roswell Road.

After the crash, concerned driver Hayley Andrews started a petition to change the intersection. So far it has almost 5,000 signatures.

“We need to see something done very quickly so that this doesn’t happen again,” said Andrews.

Some action has been taken. The MARTA bus stops that were on Roswell Road have been moved near the intersection, and the vegetation on the west side
