MANCHESTER, Conn. (WFSB) - I-384 East is closed in Manchester following a serious crash that occurred Wednesday evening.

Connecticut State Police responded to the crash at around 5:06 p.m. in the area of Exit 4. The one-crash crash resulted in an overturned car and serious injuries, state police said.

The highway is currently closed at Exit 3, and state police are asking drivers to seek alternate routes while the scene remains active.

The investigation is ongoing.
