Skywatchers are in for a breathtaking spectacle as the last supermoon of 2025 is all set to illuminate the December skies. Widely called the Cold Supermoon, the December 2025 full moon will rise in the east at sunset and appear higher in the night sky than any other full moon of the year.

This stunning lunar display promises to be one of the year's most striking, with the moon appearing larger and brighter than usual.

The Cold Moon , also known as the Long Nights Moon or the Moon Before Yule, will reach its full illumination at 6:14 p.m. EST on Thursday, December 4, according to Live Science. However, it will appear bright and full the day before and after, from December 4 to 6, looking particularly impressive on December 5, when it rises about an hour after sunset.
