A man whose remains were found near the Flatirons Vista Trailhead south of Boulder in August had drowned, according to the Boulder County Coroner’s Office.
The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office found no evidence of criminal activity in relation to the death of the man, who was later identified as 34-year-old Paul Aragon, according to a Wednesday news release. The coroner’s office determined the manner of death as accidental.
Aragon, who was unhoused, was found Aug. 26 after a member of Boulder’s Open Space and Mountain Parks Vegetation Crew called 911 to report that his remains had been found in the water in Coal Creek near the trailhead, which is along Colorado 93 south of Colorado 128, according to a Boulder County Sheriff’s Office press release.
Aragon, of Aurora, was reported missing
