The mayor of Delta, George Harvie, has kicked four city councillors off his party’s slate.

On Wednesday morning, councillors and members of the Achieving for Delta Party, Daniel Boisvert, Jennifer Johal, Rodney Binder, and Dylan Kruger were informed about the mayor’s executive decision to disallow them to run as members again in 2026, and cease all association.

Coun. Kruger tells 1130 NewsRadio that he and his colleagues found out through a letter from the agent for Achieving for Delta.

“Very disappointing to receive this news in this way. You would have thought after an eight-year relationship with the mayor, our members of council would have been informed via a personal conversation or a phone call, but to receive this news via letter from the official agent is extremely disappointing
