MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — Hugh jackman had a true Wisconsin welcome from start to finish on Tuesday, Dec. 2, as he promoted his new movie 'Song Sung Blue'.

The big-time actor documented a lot of the fun on his Instagram.

His day started with a surprise stop at Milwaukee High School of the Arts.

A spokesperson for Milwaukee Public Schools said he donated $10,000 toward new equipment for the students.

Jackman's next stop appeared to be the Old German Beer Hall on Water Street, where the actor ate chicken schnitzel and learned how to play hammerschlagen.
