Nineteen players signed national letters of intent with the Kent State football team on the first day of the NCAA's early signing period.
The Flashes' Class of 2026 includes Massillon's Lennox Lemon, Nordonia's Gavin Kanar and Kent Roosevelt's Gavin Peeps.
Fourteen of Kent State's signees are from Ohio.
KENT — Head coach Mark Carney hopes Kent State's gains on the field continue to build momentum in recruiting.
After finishing one of college football's biggest turnarounds this season, Carney is welcoming 19 new players who signed letters of intent with the Flashes on the first day of the early national signing period. The class features 14 Ohio players, including three from the Greater Akron-Canton area.
