A train company will operate their normal service during Saturdays in December after a series of planned strikes were called off. Rail workers at CrossCountry had planned to walk out in a dispute over pay and staffing issues.
The industrial action was due to be carried on Saturday, December 6, 13, 20 and 27, by members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport Union (RMT). However the union announced on Tuesday that the dispute has been resolved.
CrossCountry previously warned that there would be significant disruption on all its routes if the strikes went ahead. They are now informing customers that normal service will now operate during all Saturdays in December.
