HENRY Co., Ohio (WTVG) - A Henry County program is focused on helping strengthen families and communities by working with people impacted by things like incarceration or poverty. It’s called The RIDGE Project. The founder said its programs have helped hundreds of thousands of people in the last 25 years.
What’s happening in the small village of McClure is having a big impact around Ohio and far beyond. Thomas Crowe spent a little more than a year behind bars. He says addiction is what started his journey down the wrong road.
“I started with alcohol and marijuana as a teen. I was in a car accident and prescribed opioids. I ended up using fentanyl and crack cocaine,” Crowe said.
