When Lance Bass heard no one had done the “777 challenge” yet at the Giving Machine in Los Angeles, he said “It’s Gonna Be Me.”

The NSYNC star was at The Grove in Los Angeles for its annual Christmas tree lighting, which Bass hosted.

The red carpet for the star-studded event was next to the Light the World Giving Machines, Kristin Samuelian, the area director for the Southern California Giving Machines, told the Deseret News .

“It was amazing to me how many of these celebrities, again, organically, came over to see what was going on, and as soon as you tell them — I mean, you get one or two sentences out, and they love it,” Samuelian said.

Bass was one of the celebrities who made his way over to the Giving Machines, where he learned about the “777 Challenge.”
