President Donald Trump doubled down on his defense of the deadly strikes on an alleged drug boat in the Caribbean in September and committed to the release of video of the strikes.

Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office Wednesday, the president was asked if he would release video of the follow-up strike on the boat, as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is facing bipartisan scrutiny over the operation.

“I don't know what they have, but whatever they have would certainly release. No problem,” Trump told reporters Wednesday.

Trump also underscored his support for both Hegseth and the larger operation saying, "I think you're going to find there's a very receptive ear to doing exactly what they're doing - taking out those boats."

"And very soon we're gonna start doing it on land, too," he added.
