The Idaho Falls mayor-elect and her opponent have each reflected on Tuesday's runoff results.

Lisa Burtenshaw defeated Jeffrey Alldridge by a final margin of 6,435 votes (53.19%) to 5,663 votes (46.81%) to secure the seat and await her swearing-in ceremony on Jan. 8.
