June Ambrose brought a vivid material mix to the 39th annual FN Achievement Awards on Wednesday night in New York, arriving in Saint Laurent ’s velvet slingback pumps for the industry event.

The pumps featured a mustard-gold velvet front with a pointed toe, paired with a mint-green slingback strap and a matching heel. The velvet added most of the shoe’s color and texture, while the slim strap and tall stiletto introduced a second, slicker tone.
