NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — On Tuesday evening, we reported on fire hydrant concerns across parts of Central Arkansas.
Since then, we've learned of a neighborhood that has also been experiencing concerns with hydrants in the area.
We heard from someone living in the Oak Grove community near North Little Rock who said he has been concerned about a lack of fire hydrants.
Oak Grove resident Rodney Farley explained how, since about 2019, he and other residents have been fighting to have more fire hydrants put in near MacArthur and Oak Grove Road.
"It's fixing to be 2026 in less than a month and so I'd think they'd have some funds in that 5-year time to install proper hydrants," Farley described.
