The owner of a Peabody used car dealership has been convicted by a federal jury of money laundering after a trial showed she conspired with a known drug trafficker to make $1 million in cash deposits into her business accounts, according to federal prosecutors.

Sentencing for Christiane Fischer, 42, who lives in Wakefield, has been set for March 5 before US District Judge Angel Kelly.

The jury returned its verdict on Nov. 24, after a six-day trial.

Fischer owns PK Motor Cars, a used car dealership that also repairs and rents used cars, according to a statement issued by the office of Leah B. Foley, US attorney for Massachusetts.
