Tributes have been paid to a 'beautiful' 23-year-old man who tragically died in an incident at Ashton-under-Lyne train station last month.
Emergency services raced to the scene and cordoned off the area near Wellington Road on November 6. British Transport Police confirmed officers were called to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the casualty was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the incident was not being treated as suspicious.
It has now been confirmed that Peter-Lee Ian Noctor, 23, died in the incident. South Manchester Coroner's Court said a referral had been made for an inquest to take place into his death at a later date.
His funeral was held in Dukinfield, Tameside , on Tuesday (December 2), with pictures and video
