Pakistan will hold a fresh bidding process to sell its state-owned airline, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), after a failed attempt last year. The government has been trying to sell the loss-making airline as part of a USD 7-billion deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Last year, the government tried to find a buyer but cancelled the plan after receiving no good offers.
