EUGENE — Oregon’s coordinators are staying on through the College Football Playoff.

Duck offensive coordinator Will Stein was formally introduced as Kentucky head coach on Wednesday and defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi is reportedly bound to take over at Cal.

Dan Lanning confirmed both will be staying on as No. 5 Oregon goes through the playoffs.

“Certainly the plan is for those guys to be able to help us as we go through and chase what we want to finish this season,” Lanning said.

It’s a situation Lanning experienced when he was hired at UO in Dec. 2021, staying on as defensive coordinator at Georgia for its national championship run, albeit in the four-team playoff.
