As part of a series of early December listening sessions held across the County, the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments invites the community to a public meeting at the Santa Maria Public Library on Thursday afternoon.

The sessions are designed to gather public input on how bus systems, dial-a-ride, and paratransit services could better serve the needs of county residents.

There will be two sessions available in the Santa Maria Library's Shephard Hall on Dec. 4, one starting at 4 p.m. and a second at 5:30 p.m. Members of the public can drop-in at any time during any of the listening sessions.

Comments are shared with local decision makers, transit agencies and the California Department of Transportation to help influence options for transit services and projects.
