PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa (WPVI) -- Ambitious plans to redevelop the Plymouth Meeting Mall are drawing pushback from an unlikely tenant: a church that has called the property home for decades.
The Church on the Mall, an active house of worship in the midst of the retail complex, received an eviction notice on Thanksgiving, giving the congregation until the end of December to vacate.
"We knew that our time was limited, that we would be part of a transition, but we did not expect it to be in the middle of Advent," said Pastor Lori Kosinski.

Kosinski is now scrambling to find space for the 25 organizations that meet in the sanctuary. Some members have attended since the church opened in 1966.
