PORTLAND, Ore. — Multnomah County deputies took a man into custody on Tuesday after he allegedly tried to escape arrest and bit a deputy twice on the hand, according to a press release from the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office.
The incident began just before 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Portland dispatch received a call about an "unwanted person" on Southwest Cherry Park Road in Troutdale, near Buxton Road. MCSO said that a man later identified as Mackenzie Parrish-Civil, 28, was reported to be on private property.
"His motives for being there remain under investigation," the agency said.
