CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A 19-year-old was charged for their alleged involvement in killing a 50-year-old man at a home in October in east Charlotte, according to police.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said on Wednesday, Dec. 3, they charged 19-year-old Cristian Caraballo with murder for his alleged involvement in the killing of 50-year-old Ernesto Toledo.

What happened

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said on Saturday, Oct. 18, around 2 a.m., they responded to Wembley Drive near Central Avenue for an assault with a deadly weapon call.

Major Dave Johnson said when officers arrived, there were multiple people at the home and they learned that some sort of fight had happened.
