Shabazz vs. Camden final score: Panthers make 1st-of-its-kind school history in NJ Group 2 state championship

Camden High School in New Jersey is a boys basketball state powerhouse.

Football? Not so much. Well, until today.

The Panthers are N.J. high school football state champions for the first time in Camden history.

A dominant 27-8 victory over Shabazz on Wednesday evening at Rutgers University claimed the crown.

Camden didn't start the game how it would've wanted, losing two fumbles on strip sacks in the first half before scoring any points.

But QB Ahmad Jones and the rest of the Panthers found their stride by the game's midway point and never looked back.
