A longtime Miami artist known for the colorful “Wynwood Faces” installations says he is devastated after much of his work was vandalized over the weekend. Pieces of the faces, which decorated light poles and trees in Wynwood, were ripped down, leaving remnants behind. The artist, who has been part of the community for years, is asking why his work was targeted.
