Bandipora, Dec 3: As part of the celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib inaugurated a Centre for Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities at the old Hospital Bandipora to facilitate registration of beneficiaries under the NIRAMAYA Health Insurance Scheme under National Trust Act.

On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the participation of stakeholders and stressed the importance of ensuring easy access to welfare schemes for persons with disabilities across the district.
