GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Northeast Wisconsin’s best high school football stars were busy signing college scholarship offers on National Signing Day.
West De Pere quarterback Patrick Greisen will head to South Dakota. The state record-holder with 102 career TD passes is following in his father’s footsteps a bit, by going to a smaller-named school trying to parlay that path to an NFL future. The D2 state champion is hoping to bring a national title to the Coyotes in college.
Winneconne’s Brody Schaffer is going to Iowa. the high school QB and safety will play wide receiver for the Hawkeyes. The state’s top recruit, Schaffer led the Wolves to a D4 state title this fall.
Wolves’ teammate Hudson Samolinski is headed to Illinois State, where he will play on the defensive line.
