TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - A dramatic rescue unfolded in the Rincon Mountains as a hiker was saved by the Tucson Air Branch of CBP Air and Marine Operations.
The 18-year-old hiker was experiencing severe dehydration and cramping in his lower extremities at an elevation of 8,200 feet near Rincon Peak last Friday.
The crew and rescue specialists successfully hoisted and transported the hiker to a hospital in Tucson for further care.
