Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future in Milwaukee is officially on the clock.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the two-time MVP and his agent, Alex Saratsis, are in active talks with the Bucks, weighing the big question: Is staying in Milwaukee still Giannis’ best path, or is it time to look elsewhere?

A decision is expected within weeks — just in time to shake up the February 5 trade deadline.

Giannis didn’t come into the season looking for drama. In fact, he was optimistic. He believed in the vision pitched by GM Jon Horst and coach Doc Rivers and wanted to judge the team’s contender status over the first 25 games.
