Odds of a White Christmas listed as some forecast snow and -6C View Image

Reports are claiming parts of the UK could be buried in snow in the next few days and weeks, with claims of a -6C Arctic blast from December 16. Forecasters say it is going to feel cold for the whole country, dropping below 0C with flurries of snow in Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland - according to some reports.

The Met Office says the conditions are set to be mixed in the days ahead, forecasting 'a continuation of the unsettled conditions' with 'showers or longer spells of rain and some strong winds affecting all parts'.
